Passing From Sight...

Slowly she fades away into the light,
Very slowly passing from sight,
Not even a memory will remain,
Will all her tears be in vain?

Perhaps it's best she's forgotten,
That no one remembers she was ever begotten,
And they can go on with their lives,
Free from the guilt that caused her cries,
To go out silently into the night...

  1. I love it.

I seem to be saying the same thing over and over, but I just love it, all the time:)

  2. I can relate to this, just because SO many girls come to me feeling exactly the same as your poem describes. And no, I'm not a girl. I'm male. Just for the record. A lot of people think otherwise. Great work though. The photo reminds me of my mom...and the summers when I was a toddler.

  3. TeeTee, thanks very much!

Lee, It's funny how girls view the world. And yet the pain is very real. The fact that many girls come to you about their problems says something about you :)
