Mad Doodling

I've finally gotten the Bamboo Fun Pen Tablet!! And here is the very first drawing I made >.<. Please excuse me as this is my first time using a tablet.

I'm so happy! *Squeals in delight*.

Ahem... I am hoping to master it and with any luck come up with something better than this. A seven year old could probably draw better...and a seven year old would also know that vanilla is spelt with double L's. Sigh...

Have a nice day!

Bridge Over the Po

To the other side,

Where the skies are bluer,

Not everyone needs a guide,

Though I wish mine would come sooner.

I can't stand to be where I am,

Where the skies always gray,

And no one here seems to give a damn,

If I've lost my way.

One of the many bridges in Turin over the Po. I don't know its name though...

Arrgh!!! Am so disappointed on how the photos here look on blogger. They somehow look better on my desktop. Sorry for the bad potatoes...I mean bad photos.

A Cat...

Title of this post (A Cat...)
Comment: For lack of a better title.

Image posted (Postcard of a cat)
Comment: For lack of better things to do with my time.

Super adorable cat (which I would have loved to cuddle... but didn't because of the very stern looking owner >.<) found at the Medieval Castle in Parco Valentino.

Of Mallards and Underwear

Photos taken along the Po River—the longest river in Italy. So to be more exact, the photos were taken in Torino. The river passes through it all the way to the Adriatic Sea.

"Oh look, ducks," I thought to myself (I would have called them drakes if I hadn't forgotten my education). Anyway I whipped out my camera to take a shot when I noticed the lovely pair of boxers on display... Faded and probably not missed, I could hardly make out the checks amongst the bright blue patches.

Now this one's a duck.

Angel in Pink

Here are the bright photos I promised =D. They were taken in Parco Valentino, Torino.

I found her sitting by herself amongst the pretty flowers.

Amused and unafraid.

A farewell glance.

Neptune's Fountain

Photo taken in Moncalieri. A small town near the city of Turin.

It was a super super hot day and the pigeons had gathered at Neptune's Fountain for some small talk, a drink, and a little feces expelling (as I discovered after having a closer look >.< ).
Managed to capture a photo of this feathered friend before he/she flew off. Do click Image to enlarge.

Hmmm, I've been posting a series of pretty brown and antique looking images...gosh, it must be a phase.
Lol. I promise brighter pictures tomorrow. But *whines* I've got so many more Sepia/B&W's to show... Oh well.

Alone?

Alone amidst the dark clouds,
He stares into the storm racing to meet him,
The distant light beyond the sea,
The far off songs of jubilee,
Give him strength to raise his head,
And face the troubles all else would dread,
Alone?
Never....for he carries his beloved in his heart.

More Siena Secondo Parte

Photos taken from my visit to Siena.
A constant thought whilst wandering on the streets of red red hill-top city: no one living here could ever be unfit. It was up and down, up and down all the way...steep too I might add.

Basilica of Our Lady Help of Christians

The Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice located in Torino housing the remains of the Catholic Saint John Bosco.

Three golden statues adorn the domes of the Basilica. The highest being of Mary and the other two of Archangels Gabriel (right) and Michael (left).

A painting of one of the famous dreams of Don Bosco.

Roses, roses, roses.
